Musk Wiki is run by Aliaksei Danilau. In brief: what the site and the chat collect, and why.
The site
We count visits anonymously and without cookies: today's visit is counted, but you are not recognised tomorrow. We keep answers to the feedback survey, and an email only if you type it in yourself. When the site or the chat breaks, we get a technical error report without the text of your messages.
The chat
The chat keeps your conversations and remembers how many messages you have left. For that it sets one functional cookie; the chat cannot work without it. It needs no name or email.
An automatic bot check and limits on messages and invitation bonuses, including by network address, protect it from abuse. The database never keeps the address itself, only a scrambled form of it.
Who processes your messages
Your message and the recent part of the conversation go to the AI model providers that write the answer, and the chat runs on cloud infrastructure: Cloudflare, OpenRouter and the model providers, plus PostHog for statistics. Some of them may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
Chat statistics
To see what works in the chat, we count how it is used. The text of your messages and of the answers never goes into statistics.
Visitors from the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first. Without consent we count only anonymously, so today's visit cannot be linked to tomorrow's; with consent, under a random ID that doesn't say who you are. You give or withdraw consent in the chat: in its question, or with the “Usage statistics” switch in the limits menu (the ring by the input).
Everywhere else statistics are kept under a random ID too, without asking. To opt out, write to us.
How long we keep it
We keep data for as long as the site and the chat need it; conversations are not deleted automatically yet. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Legal basis and your rights
We process data so the site and the chat work: that is the service you ask for and our legitimate interest; statistics under a random ID in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland need your consent.
You can ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Chats are not tied to a name, so mention a question you asked and roughly when. If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
